History and Mission

PCI Health Training Center in Dallas, Texas was originally founded as the Academy for Medical and Dental Assistants in 1978 by Doctor Roy Rose to address the growing need for skilled medical professionals in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. In 1983, the Dallas campus was purchased by the Texas Education Corporation and in May, 1990, the school was purchased by its current owners, Prince Careers, Inc. Throughout the school’s practice and training, it has continually upheld the proud tradition of providing skilled, job-ready workers to the growing allied health care industry.

PCI is dedicated to providing intensive short-term training that prepares individuals with the skills necessary to begin a career immediately upon completion of their program in the medical field. To this end, PCI employs a faculty of experienced professionals, each committed to assisting our students in realizing their goals of becoming contributing members of the health care industry. We strive to treat each student as an aspiring professional. For over twenty years, PCI has prepared individuals for careers in allied health care.
