Congratulations Graduating Senior!

It's your final year and the clock is ticking...........

Enjoy your last high school games, the senior prom, and all the festivities that are part of celebrating your big day.  Being a graduate has its perks, maybe you're getting a car, a trip, or a big blow out party, to mark the occasion.  Make the most of this time in your life.  This is your moment and you deserve it!  Afterall graduating from high school is no easy feat.  You are to be commended for sticking with it and obtaining your diploma.

It's your final year and the clock is ticking...........

Jumping ahead to the future, the ceremony is over and  time begins to pass by quickly.  Changes are starting to take place, friends go off to college, or others not around as much because of their work schedule.  You notice your parents are much more serious.  Money in your pocket seems to be less and less these days.  Come to think of it, everything seems so much more serious now than a few months ago while still in high school. Reality starts to set in. Cell phones, cable, car payments, gas for the car, rent or house payment,  clothes, and food, where does the money come from to pay for it?  Oh and lets not forget a boyfriend or girlfriend, or perhaps even a spouse or child.  That's even more money.

Many graduating seniors spend so much time planning for their proms or graduation and yet little time preparing for the rest of their life after high school.  Sadly after graduation they have to settle for whatever job they can get or some become trapped in remedial college classes.  Failure to plan and thouroughly research a career and explore education options, can lead to wasted time and money.

But you're smarter than that ...............

Graduation is right around the corner and you are looking at this page.  Obviously life after high school is something you are thinking about and planning for. Good for you!  Not only do you realize that an education beyond high school is important, so is choosing a specific career path.  Let's face it, if you are going to be in school, make it count. Students that are accepted at PCI and begin classes, are receiving career specific education at an accelerated pace.  You could be "job ready" in as little as six to nine months.

No doubt you have come to realize through research, that the healthcare industry has career opportunities that are exciting, challenging, and in high demand.  If you are like many of our PCI graduates, you can't settle for just any type of job.  It needs to be a career that's respected and you can be proud of.  One where you can help others and feel good about it.  That's what you are looking for.  That's what you are planning for.

The clock is ticking.  Not an alarm clock, it's an opportunity clock.  It's counting down to the next phase of your life.  Our desire is that it be a great one and full of promise.  We hope to be a part of it!
