Financial Aid

Tuition Assistance

If you are reading this page you are obviously interested in furthering your education or starting a new medical career. Great! Now comes the major question - How do you pay for it? The school realizes that most students lack the financial means to simply write out a check for their educational expenses. To assist students in overcoming the financial obstacles, the school maintains a number of tuition financing options to help you reach your career goals. These programs can make professional career training affordable to practically any student!

PCI Health Training Center Financial Aid Office

Financial Aid Officers will assist you in determining which financial aid assistance programs you qualify for and how much assistance is available. Since the financial aid application process can often appear to be complicated, the professional staff at PCI will help guide you through the process. Prospective students will receive a confidential interview for this purpose. During this interview, individual tuition financing arrangements will be made and the staff will answer any questions you may have concerning eligibility.

Federal Educational Assistance Programs

As an accredited institution, the school is eligible to participate in Title IV Student Financial Assistance programs administered by the U.S. Department of Education. These programs offer educational loan and grant assistance to students who qualify under the federal guidelines. Veterans and other persons eligible to receive VA benefits may utilize VA Educational benefits for attendance in all PCI programs. In addition, a number of federal, state and local agencies provide financial assistance in the form of scholarships, tuition payment assistance, and assistance with day-care and transportation needs.

The Federal Pell Grant is awarded to eligible students and does not have to be repaid. The Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant is an additional grant award made available to students with the greatest financial needs. Federal Stafford Loans are low-interest educational expense loans made available to eligible students. Federal loan repayments begin six months after the students last date of school attendance. For all federal educational loan programs, students must apply to the U.S. Department of Education on their application form. More Information on Federal Assistance Programs.

Other Financial Assistance Programs

In addition to federal financial assistance, there are a number of federal, state and local programs which provide tuition, scholarships and other educational assistance. Since not every student will qualify for outside assistance, or the financial aid available is not sufficient to cover the entire training program cost, the school offers a number of institutional financing plans to assist students with the remaining cost of their training.

Net Price Calculator

Congratulations!  If you are trying to determine the cost of attending school, that indicates you are serious about obtaining the training necessary for an exciting medical career.  To successfully complete a training program at PCI, a student should have a way to get back and forth to school, childcare if applicable, no schedule conflicts, and the ability to afford their personal living expenses as well as costs associated with education.

The Net Price Calculator is a tool to help students estimate the cost of attending a program at PCI Health Training Center.  It is important to know that the information you receive from the calculator is a broad estimate.  For example, the student allowances for room and board, personal, and transportation expenses are derived from the Bureau of Labor Statistics price index.  Actual costs may be different for each student based on their individual socio-economic status, geographic location, and general spending habits and needs.  These estimates do not represent a final determination, or actual award, of financial assistance or a final net price.

It is also important to note that the calculator provides an estimate of total grant aid.  The calculator does not provide information related to student loans that may be used to help with the cost of education.  To find out more about student loans check out the resources available on this page under the heading "Federal Student Aid Information". The calculator does not include any additional types of funding that may be available to a student.
